The concept of memory card is being used in almost all the electronic devices nowadays like cameras, mobile phones, computers and so many other devices. For example, when a person decides to purchase a camera, he should look into the memory capacity of that particular camera he is looking for. He should finalise the purchase after looking into its capacity and his need for the same. He has to check the capacity of the memory card.

There are various types of memory cards and the capacity of these differs. For shooting a high resolution picture, 1 GB memory card will serve the purpose than the memory cards of capacity 64 MB and 512 MB. It is always advisable to have a back up of all the data of the memory card.
